Begun in 2004, Blossoms are an investigation into the subtle nuances that make each individual unique within a single species or community. Each work is made up of a multitude of blossoms, hand-sculpted, petal by petal, a meditative practice that reinforces this idea of each of us as unique. No molds are ever used in the making of these (or any) of my sculptural works.
